AppVerix Downloads: Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the merchant who installs the app) and AppVerix (“we”). By installing AppVerix Downloads you agree to them.
1. What the app does
The app lets you attach files and license keys to products, store the files in S3-compatible object storage, and deliver signed download links and keys when an order is paid, by email and on the order status and customer account pages. It does not charge your customers for the app.
2. Price and billing
- Three plans, billed every 30 days with a 14-day free trial: Starter $9, Plus $24, Pro $49 USD. Caps are listed on the pricing page.
- Shopify bills you on your invoice. We never see your card.
- To cancel, use Settings in the app or uninstall it. Shopify stops the charge. We don’t refund partial periods unless Shopify’s rules or the law require it.
- If we change the price we tell you at least 30 days before, and you approve the new charge in Shopify.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the files and keys you attach, for having the right to distribute them, and for making sure your offer is lawful where you sell.
- You are responsible for malware scanning and for not uploading illegal content.
- Check a paid test order on your theme before you rely on the app.
- Don’t use the app for anything illegal.
4. Data
How we handle data is in our Política de Privacidade. We store buyer email, order identifiers, assigned keys and a hashed IP on downloads so we can deliver files and answer privacy requests.
5. Availability and changes
We try to keep the app running but don’t promise it will never be down. If storage or email is unavailable, the delivery is marked failed and you can resend it. We may change features, and tell you in advance if we remove something you pay for.
6. Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
7. Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling. We may suspend or end your use if you break these terms, with notice where reasonable. After you uninstall your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction, unless consumer or other mandatory law in your country says otherwise.
9. Data Processing Addendum
By installing the app you also agree to the AppVerix Data Processing Addendum. It explains how we process personal data for you as your processor, which subprocessors we use, our security measures, deletion and how we notify you of a breach. Our security and incident response policy is public.
